I created Mitchell & Sun Renewables in 2018 to offer the Creston Valley and beyond a professional electrical contractor with a focus on 'green energy'. The journey started seven years before that, living off grid in the woods of S.E. Manitoba. These formative years living with only solar and wood to provide energy for our cabin not only showed me what is possible with this amazing resource, but also the lifestyle that many people in the Kootenays choose. Though I no longer start my day by checking the battery voltage, I still have solar at the family home in Wynndel feeding back into the FortisBC grid. Regardless of the location or lifestyle, I know this: You want your electrical system to be safe, efficient, and reliable.
